NTC FTTH Package 2026 (2083): Every NT Fiber Price, Real First-Year Cost & Which One to Pick
Prices checked against Nepal Telecom’s official FTTH tariff page on 8 October 2026 (Ashoj 2083). NT says all listed charges include tax.

Nepal Telecom’s fiber internet (sold as NT Fiber or NTC FTTH) now has more than 60 price points across internet-only, internet + telephone, triple play with NTTV, Wi-Fi 6, premium and corporate plans. The official tariff page lists them, but it doesn’t tell you what you will actually pay in year one once installation, the telephone ownership tax, the router and the set-top box are added — and that is where most people get surprised.
This guide lists every current NTC FTTH package, works out the real first-year cost and the effective monthly price for each, corrects a few numbers that are still wrong on other sites, and ends with a simple “which package for you” picker.

The 4 NTC FTTH package families at a glance
Nepal Telecom groups its fiber plans into four families. Most homes only need to look at the first one.
| Family | Speeds | Who it’s for | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual (internet-only, internet + phone, triple play) | 50 – 200 Mbps | Homes, students, work-from-home | Rs 815/month or Rs 8,499/year |
| Wi-Fi 6 | 100 – 200 Mbps | Homes with many devices or large flats | Rs 14,499/year |
| Premium (no FUP) | 100 – 200 Mbps | Heavy users, small offices, streamers | Rs 5,900/month or Rs 32,199/year |
| Corporate XGPON | 500 Mbps – 2 Gbps | Offices and organisations (not resellers) | Rs 69,691/year |
NTC FTTH internet + telephone packages (most popular)
This is the standard NT Fiber home plan: unlimited internet with daily FUP plus a landline number on the same fiber. You get 250 free NT-to-NT call minutes a month (750 on quarterly, 3,000 on yearly).
| Speed | 1 month | 3 months | 12 months | Yearly = per month | Mobile data/day (yearly) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | Rs 815 | Rs 2,350 | Rs 8,499 | Rs 708 | 600 MB |
| 75 Mbps | Rs 1,010 | Rs 2,900 | Rs 10,499 | Rs 875 | 700 MB |
| 100 Mbps | Rs 1,150 | Rs 3,200 | Rs 11,499 | Rs 958 | 800 MB |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 1,250 | Rs 3,600 | Rs 12,999 | Rs 1,083 | 900 MB |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 1,600 | Rs 4,550 | Rs 16,499 | Rs 1,375 | 1,000 MB |
| 50 Mbps (for existing voice-only users) | – | – | Rs 7,499 | Rs 625 | 600 MB |
NTC FTTH 2-year internet-only packages (cheapest per month)
If you don’t need a landline or TV, the multi-year internet-only plan is the lowest-cost way into NT Fiber. You pay once for 24 months, there is no installation charge, the router and the first 100 m of fiber are free, and NT lists a 2-year warranty. The tariff also mentions 3,000 NT-NT voice minutes a year, but you need a phone line to use them — a new telephone connection carries the Rs 665 ownership tax.
| Speed | 2-year price | Per year | Per month | Mobile data/day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | Rs 14,999 | Rs 7,500 | Rs 625 | 600 MB |
| 100 Mbps | Rs 20,199 | Rs 10,100 | Rs 842 | 800 MB |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 22,599 | Rs 11,300 | Rs 942 | 900 MB |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 28,399 | Rs 14,200 | Rs 1,183 | 1,000 MB |
Triple play: NTC FTTH internet + NTTV + telephone
NTTV is Nepal Telecom’s IPTV service. “Basic” and “Premium” are channel bouquets; the premium bouquet adds more channels. On the yearly plan the price already includes the router (CPE) and one set-top box (STB).
New connection – yearly (router + set-top box included)
| Speed | With Basic NTTV | With Premium NTTV | Mobile data/day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | Rs 10,499 | Rs 12,000 | 600 MB |
| 100 Mbps | Rs 13,499 | Rs 14,999 | 800 MB |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 14,999 | Rs 16,499 | 900 MB |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 18,499 | Rs 19,999 | 1,000 MB |
Renewal – yearly (Rs 1,000 cheaper)
| Speed | Basic NTTV renewal | Premium NTTV renewal |
|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | Rs 9,499 | Rs 10,999 |
| 100 Mbps | Rs 12,499 | Rs 13,999 |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 13,999 | Rs 15,999 |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 17,499 | Rs 18,999 |
Monthly and quarterly triple play (router and STB bought separately)
| Speed | Basic 1 month | Basic 3 months | Premium 1 month | Premium 3 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | Rs 1,065 | Rs 3,100 | Rs 1,285 | Rs 3,760 |
| 100 Mbps | Rs 1,400 | Rs 3,950 | Rs 1,620 | Rs 4,610 |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 1,500 | Rs 4,350 | Rs 1,720 | Rs 5,010 |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 1,850 | Rs 5,300 | Rs 2,070 | Rs 5,960 |
Extra TVs: each additional NTTV connection needs its own set-top box (Rs 3,230) plus the standard bouquet rate. Existing landline-only customers can add just NTTV for Rs 498.60/month (Basic) or Rs 718.60/month (Premium); yearly is Rs 5,983.20 and Rs 7,303.20.
NTC Wi-Fi 6 packages
The Wi-Fi 6 plans give you NT’s Wi-Fi 6 router instead of the standard one — useful when many phones, TVs and laptops share the connection. All prices are yearly and include taxes.
| Speed | Internet + phone | + Basic NTTV | + Premium NTTV | Mobile data/day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 Mbps | Rs 14,499 | Rs 16,499 | Rs 17,999 | 400 MB + 400 MB night |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 15,999 | Rs 17,999 | Rs 19,499 | 450 MB + 450 MB night |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 19,499 | Rs 21,499 | Rs 22,999 | 500 MB + 500 MB night |
Compared with the standard yearly 100 Mbps + phone plan (Rs 11,499), Wi-Fi 6 costs Rs 3,000 more. It mainly pays off in larger homes or when many devices are online at once. Wi-Fi 6 premium (no FUP) plans run Rs 35,199 to Rs 53,319 a year.
NTC FTTH premium packages (no FUP)
Premium plans have no fair-usage limit, so speed never throttles, and NT gives one public IP address on request. They cost roughly 3–4 times the regular plans. The router, any set-top box and the Rs 500 installation are extra.
| Speed | Internet only (1 / 3 / 12 months) | + Basic NTTV (12 months) | + Premium NTTV (12 months) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 Mbps | Rs 5,900 / 16,200 / 32,199 | Rs 35,199 | Rs 36,519 |
| 150 Mbps | Rs 7,500 / 19,700 / 39,999 | Rs 42,999 | Rs 44,319 |
| 200 Mbps | Rs 9,600 / 24,500 / 45,999 | Rs 48,999 | Rs 50,319 |
Do most people need premium? No. The regular 100 Mbps plan allows 100 GB a day at full speed — about 3 TB a month. Only shared offices, heavy uploaders or anyone who needs a public IP for hosting should pay the premium.
Corporate XGPON packages: 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps
XGPON is NT’s faster fiber technology. These yearly plans are for organisations and corporate offices; NT says they are not available to service providers.
| Yearly plan | Price (incl. tax) | Daily FUP → throttle | Calls |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 Mbps (Basic) | Rs 69,691 | 0.5 TB → 100 Mbps | Unlimited NT-NT + 350 min off-net/month |
| 1 Gbps (Basic) | Rs 99,691 | 1 TB → 200 Mbps | Unlimited NT-NT + 500 min off-net/month |
| 1 Gbps (Premium) | Rs 129,000 | 2 TB → 200 Mbps | Unlimited NT-NT + 500 min off-net/month |
| 2 Gbps (Premium) | Rs 179,000 | 3 TB → 500 Mbps | Unlimited NT-NT + 800 min off-net/month |
Add-ons: a 6,000-rupee router is not included on the internet-only XGPON plans. Bundles with one public IP, telephone and premium NTTV cost Rs 77,241 (500 Mbps) and Rs 1,07,241 (1 Gbps), router and STB included. Corporate TV for 4+ screens starts at Rs 3,000 a year per TV for the basic bouquet.

| Telephone ownership tax (OT) | Rs 665 per new number | Not applicable if you take no phone line |
| Router (CPE) – single band | Rs 2,825 | Free with a 1-year package on a new connection |

| NTTV set-top box | Rs 3,230 per box | First box free with a yearly triple-play plan |

Real first-year cost of an NTC FTTH connection
Here is what a brand-new customer actually pays in the first 12 months, with all one-time charges added. We assumed a single-band router, a fiber run under 100 m, and a new phone number wherever the plan includes telephone.
| Plan (new customer) | Package | One-time | Year-one total | Real cost per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 Mbps + phone, paid monthly | Rs 13,800 | Rs 3,990 (install + OT + router) | Rs 17,790 | Rs 1,483 |
| 100 Mbps + phone, paid quarterly | Rs 12,800 | Rs 3,990 | Rs 16,790 | Rs 1,399 |
| 100 Mbps + phone, yearly | Rs 11,499 | Rs 1,165 (install + OT) | Rs 12,664 | Rs 1,055 |
| 100 Mbps + Basic NTTV + phone, yearly | Rs 13,499 | Rs 1,165 | Rs 14,664 | Rs 1,222 |
| 100 Mbps internet-only, 2-year (half) | Rs 10,100 | Rs 0 | Rs 10,100 | Rs 842 |
| 50 Mbps + phone, yearly | Rs 8,499 | Rs 1,165 | Rs 9,664 | Rs 805 |
| 50 Mbps internet-only, 2-year (half) | Rs 7,500 | Rs 0 | Rs 7,500 | Rs 625 |
Our take: paying monthly only makes sense if you are renting short-term. Over a year, the monthly 100 Mbps plan costs about Rs 5,100 more than the yearly plan once you include the router.
NTC FTTH FUP: how much data before your speed drops
Regular NT Fiber plans are “unlimited” with a daily Fair Usage Policy. After you cross the daily volume, speed drops to the throttle speed until the day resets.
| Plan | Daily FUP | Speed after FUP | Roughly per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | 50 GB | 5 Mbps | ~1.5 TB |
| 75 Mbps | 75 GB | 10 Mbps | ~2.25 TB |
| 100 Mbps | 100 GB | 15 Mbps | ~3 TB |
| 150 Mbps | 150 GB | 20 Mbps | ~4.5 TB |
| 200 Mbps | 200 GB | 50 Mbps | ~6 TB |
| Premium plans | No FUP | – | Unlimited |
Free mobile data with NTC FTTH yearly packages
Yearly NT Fiber subscribers get free daily data on the NTC mobile number registered with the fiber. Half is usable any time and half is a night bonus (11 PM – 6 AM).
| Yearly plan | All-time data/day | Night bonus/day (11 PM–6 AM) | Total/day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | 300 MB | 300 MB | 600 MB |
| 75 Mbps | 350 MB | 350 MB | 700 MB |
| 100 Mbps | 400 MB | 400 MB | 800 MB |
| 150 Mbps | 450 MB | 450 MB | 900 MB |
| 200 Mbps | 500 MB | 500 MB | 1,000 MB |
You can see the free data on your SIM with the usual balance check — see our guide to check NTC data balance or the *1415*55# remaining-data code. Monthly and quarterly plans don’t get this bonus.
Which NTC FTTH package should you pick?
NTC FTTH vs private ISPs: is Nepal Telecom cheaper?
We compared the yearly 200 Mbps price for a new home customer. NT’s prices include tax; private ISPs usually quote prices before 13% VAT, so we added VAT to put them on the same footing. Figures are from our checks of each provider on 6–8 October 2026.
| Provider (200 Mbps, 1 year) | Price as listed | Approx. with 13% VAT | What’s bundled |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nepal Telecom (internet + phone) | Rs 16,499 (incl. tax) | Rs 16,499 | Phone line, 3,000 NT-NT min, 1 GB/day mobile data, free router |
| WorldLink | Rs 14,894 + VAT | ~Rs 16,830 | Plus Rs 3,000 setup for new customers |
| Vianet | Rs 16,830 (incl. VAT) | Rs 16,830 | – |
| Classic Tech | Rs 11,388 + VAT | ~Rs 12,870 | – |
| DishHome | Rs 11,062 + VAT | ~Rs 12,500 | – |
So NTC isn’t the cheapest at 200 Mbps, but it is competitive with WorldLink and Vianet and is the only one that throws in a landline and daily mobile data. Its biggest advantages are reach (NT Fiber is in all 77 districts, per NepaliTelecom) and price stability. After the recent Supreme Court ruling on the telecommunication service charge, reports suggest private ISP prices could rise further; NT had not announced FTTH price changes as of 8 October 2026.
How to apply for a new NTC FTTH connection
Look for an NT Fiber distribution box on the poles near your house, or a neighbour’s Wi-Fi named NTFiber_…. Calling 198 is the sure way.
Dial 198 and press 1, or visit your nearest Nepal Telecom office with your citizenship or national ID.
NT staff visit to check port availability and the fiber distance to your house.
Pay the package plus Rs 500 installation (and Rs 665 ownership tax if you take a phone line). Choose yearly to get the router free.
The team runs the fiber, sets up the router and gives you your Wi-Fi name, password and customer (landline) number. Test the internet and phone before they leave.
Already have an NTC landline? You can add 50 Mbps fiber internet for Rs 7,499 a year on your existing line. If you’re leaving a copper landline behind instead, see the NTC landline deactivation procedure for documents and the deposit refund.
How to recharge or renew NTC FTTH
NT Fiber is billed against your FTTH customer (landline) number, so keep it handy. You can renew:
- In the Nepal Telecom app or NT’s online self-care, using your FTTH number
- Through eSewa, Khalti or mobile banking under “Nepal Telecom → FTTH / Landline”
- At any NT counter or authorised dealer
- Renew before expiry: the triple-play renewal price (Rs 1,000 cheaper) applies to renewals, not new connections
For service faults, call 198. To manage your NTC mobile number alongside fiber, these guides help: NTC USSD codes list, activate and deactivate NTC services, transfer balance from NTC to NTC, take a loan on NTC and activate NTC eSIM.
Common NTC FTTH problems and quick fixes
| Problem | Try this first |
|---|---|
| Red LOS light on the router | Fiber signal is lost — check the cable isn’t bent or cut, then call 198 |
| Connected but no internet | Restart the router; check your package hasn’t expired |
| Speed suddenly very slow | You may have crossed the daily FUP; speed returns after the daily reset |
| Wi-Fi weak in other rooms | Move the router to the centre of the house or consider the Wi-Fi 6 plan |
| Free mobile data not showing | Only yearly plans get it, and only on the NTC number registered with your fiber |
